«Carribean music — isn’t that all about Bob Marley and this Reggae and Rasta stuff?» Many people share this stereotype about music from Jamaica and the neighboring islands. However, there is much more to music from Jamaica and other Carribean nations such as Trinidad and Tobago: from Calypso music in the 1950s, Rocksteady and Ska in the 1960 to the Dub music revolution of the 1970 up to Dancehall, Reggaeton and Soca in the 1990s and afterwards — there is a great variety of wonderful danceable and enjoyable music genres from the Carribeans — SWS will bring all that to you with on 14 September, 2012 @ ART LABYRINTH.

SWS aka the «Sound With Soul» is a soundsystem (group of DJs) that was founded in Berlin, Germany in 2003. Since then, the team soundtracked numerous parties in European and non-European cities (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich etc. (Germany), Tel Aviv (Israel), New York City (USA), Linz (Austria), Warsaw, Poznan (Poland), Geneva, Bern, Zurich (Switzerland)) and has influenced the Reggae & Dancehall scene in Berlin. Outside the club, SWS became well known in the international reggae community with their own production label and their quality mixtapes.
